In the article “Law Enforcement Officers in Schools: An Analysis of Ethical Issues”   In the source Criminal Justice Ethics, Joseph McKenna and Joycelyn Pollock explains:

Article
When I read the article it talked about how we have tragic events happen on our Nations of violence on school grounds. They now have Police officers in schools to prevent violence to happen. The officers also play a big part in student discipline. The officer socialization and training that is part of a role in the officer’s duty to mentor students. They want to present some suggestions on how the officer may conflict and their experience of law Enforcement. About the officers working in schools.

I thought this article was interesting since I’m interested in Law Enforcement. But it was a little short.  I did know we have officers at High School and College. I just didn’t know we could or will have them at Elementary and Middle schools. I wouldn’t be surprise about any officers at school since there has been a lot of crime all over. When I was at a senior in high school. During lunch there was a big fight and the teachers ran over to stop it so they called the officer that was in my school and he dropped one of the guys to the ground. So I believe if there are not any officers at any High School it could get really bad. Let me know if I made you understand what was going on. If you have any questions wright they in the comment below and I will be sure to get back to them!

  1. I agree with your statement how if there isn't any law enforcement at high schools it could get bad. I think it's smart to have officers at schools, it doesn't matter what grade of school it is. High school, most certainly, kids in high school are about to be adults and experience the real world. They might as well get used to be treated like an adult and stop acting like a punk. So having the visual of an officer in your life on a day to day base can be good for high school students. Because as adults we all know that cops are everywhere.
